French Toast with Egg

Perfect last minute lunch idea!

I had a lot of fun yesterday spending the day with my Grandparents. I always love going to their house because it brings back memories of my childhood and the times I would spend there with my Grandparents; sleeping over, drawing together, and always having lots of fun!

Yesterday we were undecided what to have for lunch, but when the time came we made some french toast. This came about because we had mentioned it a few times throughout the morning, talking about how we all enjoy it, and we decided it would be a great alternative to any other food options that day.

It tasted wonderful and warm as we ate it freshly made. We enjoyed it with a coffee and feta cheese. It was a great combination!

French toast is quick to make; simply whisk one egg with salt and pepper, dip both sides of a slice of bread in the egg, then brown both sides of the bread in a frying pan with oil.
